GREATEST TREADMILL DISTANCE IN 7 DAYS
Adventureman broke the world record for ‘the greatest distance covered on a treadmill within one week’. 7 days and 7 nights of brutal and gruelling endurance, sleeping on average 3 hours a night.
SUPER U-S-A SOLO RUN
In March 2019, after 12 months – Jamie McDonald completed a year-long, 210 Marathon, 5,500 mile solo run across the United States of America. At the end, he was joined by hundreds of Gloucester, Massachusetts residents, of all ages – with many donning superhero costumes.
CANADA RUN - COAST TO COAST - UNSUPPORTED
In February 2014, Jamie finished an historic journey across Canada, becoming the first person in history to run the 5,000 miles (equivalent to 200 marathons) from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast without the aid of a support crew.
MARATHON STATIC CYCLING - WORLD RECORD
Just a few weeks after he finished cycling from Bangkok to Gloucester; Jamie broke the world record for longest time, ever spent on a static bike. Jamie made the decision to attempt the record, which stood at 224 hours and 24 minutes.
CYCLING BANGKOK TO GLOUCESTER - UNSUPPORTED
In 2012, Jamie bought a second hand bike (having never really cycled much before), and decided to cycle the 14,000 miles from Bangkok to his hometown Gloucester, passing through dozens of countries.
UNITE STUDENTS JOGLE - SUPPORTED
In February 2016, Jamie was invited by Unite Students to support their JOGLE (John O’Groats to Lands End) challenge, cycling 1052 miles and helping them raise more than £250,000
