In March 2019, after 12 months – Jamie McDonald completed a year-long, 210 Marathon, 5,500 mile solo run across the United States of America. At the end, he was joined by hundreds of Gloucester, Massachusetts residents, of all ages – with many donning superhero costumes.

Just a few weeks after he finished cycling from Bangkok to Gloucester; Jamie broke the world record for longest time, ever spent on a static bike. Jamie made the decision to attempt the record, which stood at 224 hours and 24 minutes.
In 2012, Jamie bought a second hand bike (having never really cycled much before), and decided to cycle the 14,000 miles from Bangkok to his hometown Gloucester, passing through dozens of countries.
In February 2016, Jamie was invited by Unite Students to support their JOGLE (John O’Groats to Lands End) challenge, cycling 1052 miles and helping them raise more than £250,000
