Here’s the third of Jamie’s video updates, in which he battles with 40 mile per hour winds, injuries that threaten to put a stop to the run and the loss of friend and former headmaster ‘Big Larry’ Montague.
We are also introduced to the solution to the problems caused by Jamie’s ‘obese’ 30kg backpack Barry.
Jamie began his 5,000 mile run across Canada on Sunday 10th March and aims to finish the run – the equivalent of 200+ marathons – in December. He is aiming to become the first person to run Canada coast to coast with no support crew.
